In late Tang dynasty, “chai dian li fu” become a famous and common wedding dress. “chai dian li fu” is in long sleeves and has many layers. “Kimono” in Japan is inspired by the idea of “chai dian li fu”. To make the wedding dress look gorgeous, the bride has to match with a hairpin which is made from a lot of metals and jewels. At the end Tang dynasty, the “chai dian li fu” is being simplified.
